Presidents Park was an attraction in Williamsburg, VA that included a walking tour of 15 foot busts of each of the presidents up to George W. Bush. These were sculpted by an artist in Texas. In 2010 Presidents Park closed and eventually these neglected sculptures were relocated to private property just outside of Williamsburg. Presidents Park had poor attendance when it was open but visits to these sculptures now are now in high demand.
This is a collection of images I made with my Infrared converted camera.

I have only visited Death Valley on two brief occasions but I am captivated by it. Fortunately I visited when it was a cooler time of year but I find it amazing that there is so much life in such a harsh environment. The beauty of Death Valley is unlike what I have experienced before either.
I do not consider myself a Macro photographer but this is a whole world that I and many of us are missing out on. If you simply get close to something you can notice it’ complexity and beauty in a unique way.
I have had a passion for old buildings and architecture for much of my life. I grew up watching shows like This Old House; I preferred the experience of witnessing the restoration of homes over cartoons most of the time. After college, I had the opportunity to move to Williamsburg, VA and work for Colonial Williamsburg in the Interior Design Studio. Though I only worked for Colonial Williamsburg for 2 and a half years, I visit as often as I can for walks with my family, Saturday morning Farmer’s Markets and to simply appreciate the excellent examples of Colonial architecture.
I have visited the Outer Banks of North Carolina countless times in my life. Growing up, our family visited every summer for a week of R&R. My family and I only live a couple hours away and visit often, especially now that all of my wife’s family have relocated there. The Outer Banks is an area that is rich in photographic opportunities for the landscape and wildlife photographer.
The Southwest is one of my favorite places in the United States. I love the varied colors of the landscape, the light is incredible and it is so different than what I am used to experiencing in the Easter US.
New York City is city that has everything: iconic architecture, arts, culture and unique inhabitants. It is a city that is constantly in motion. This is enough to enjoy this great city but much of my family grew up near by as well.
Iceland is one of the most beautiful places I have visited. My wife and I visited in the late Spring of 2013. This is a land of extremes where much of the small island is very raw. We rented a camper van and traveled around the island for 8 days. I can’t imagine a better way to experience Iceland.
Pattern, color, shape and movement are all around us. Sometimes capturing these elements is not done literally. This is a collection of images I have created that show the world as I see it abstractly.
I have the opportunity about twice a year to visit Canada for work. I mostly go to the Toronto area but have been to Montreal and Vancouver. I love visiting Canada, it is a beautiful country that I would like to have more time to explore someday.
If you like old cars and photographing rusty things then Old Car City is the place for you! Old Car City was a working junkyard for many years and when it stopped being an active junkyard then a whole forest grew up around all the cars. It is an amazing place to visit for the experience but for many it is a photographic dream.
Old Car City is located in White, GA about an hour or so from Atlanta. https://www.oldcarcityusa.com
It was great to be back in New York City.

Simply put, Williamsburg, Virginia has been my venue for learning photography over the past 20 years. While I have had the privilege to photograph many beautiful places, I am always inspired by and never seem to tire of photographing the Williamsburg area.
My goal with Captured In Williamsburg is to simply be intentional about sharing my work regularly. Much of this work will be from Colonial Williamsburg but there is more to Williamsburg than just the Historic Area.
